Founded in 1978 and located in Scottsdale, Arizona, Forever Living Products are the largest grower, manufacturer and distributor of aloe vera products in the world. For the last 40 years, they have dedicated themselves to seeking out nature’s best sources for health and beauty and have gone on to share them with the world. With a commitment to quality and purity, they are passionate about helping everyone around the world look and feel better. So, when Lloyd Wadding of Forever Living Ireland got in touch with me to see if I would test out some of the products, I was only too happy to oblige being the product junkie I am.

So, without further ado, the first product I tried was the Hydrating Cleanser from the Infinite by Forever, Advanced Skincare Collection. According to the blurb, this is a new way to experience the power of aloe. While we know the many benefits of aloe, Infinite by Forever have ramped it up and paired it with peptides, natural minerals, botanicals, desert plants and the latest skin science which not only complements it but actually increase its efficacy and benefits. Not only will you see the difference between these formulas, but you’ll feel it too. I really enjoyed using the Hydrating Cleanser and the hydrate it did. This is a mild, milky cleanser, hypoallergenic with no artificial fragrance added so ideal if your skin has any sensitivity. Full of potent naturally derived ingredients such as apple extract, apple amino acid and cocoa fatty acids, this pleasant-to-use silky smooth cleanser, gently removed dirt and debris and left my skin hydrated, soft and clean.

Next Up was the Forever Smoothing Exfoliator. This contains natural jojoba beads and bamboo powder, which help to remove all the dead cells without scratching our delicate skin or harming the environment. Added lemon essential oil works as a rich moisturizer that hydrates the new skin beneath the surface and brightens to reveal a more radiant fresh complexion. With natural extracts like bromelain and papain (active enzymes found in papaya and pineapple) which help break down and dissolve dead skin cells on the surface of the skin, this exfoliator is packed full of efficacious ingredients, giving you a gentle peel, and smooth soft skin. You could use this every day as it was so gentle, but I think 2-3 times a week is more than enough for you to really notice a difference.

I loved the Aloe Moisturising Lotion. This is a moisturising cream, containing aloe, jojoba oil, collagen and elastin and has a lovely rich texture, with a fresh, soothing scent. My skin felt extremely soft and moisturised after using it, it was also easily absorbed, with no greasy residue and a great lotion for hands and feet too. Win-Win!

Aloe MSM Gel is a combination of aloe vera and MSM (Methyl Sulfonyl Methane, an organic sulphur found in almost all living organisms). In fact, sulphur is the third most abundant substance in our body. I tried this on my knees as this is an area where I can experience a lot of discomforts and it worked.  I walk/run every day, so I really benefited from having this to hand. For anyone sporty or who has joint issues, definitely one to try.

Lastly Forever Bright Toothgel is a toothpaste with a difference, green in colour, it contains aloe vera, bee propolis and is a non-fluoride formula which is flavoured with natural mint. Who would think that bee propolis has a place in toothpaste well seemingly, it has proved a successful treatment against a range of dental disorders such as cavities, gum disease and mouth ulcers. It also works as an anti-inflammatory to soothe swollen and sore gums. As for aloe vera in toothpaste? Well, it tends to be less harsh on teeth, as it does not contain the abrasive elements typically found in the better know toothpaste on the market and is a great alternative for people with sensitive teeth or gums. On using it for the first time, it did leave a lovely minty freshness on my teeth and was very gentle to use. Although I liked the pleasantness of using it, would I give up my regular toothpaste, perhaps not but for times when I had some sensitivity in my teeth then yes, I would use. It can also be used on your four-legged friends.
