Dermalux LED Phototherapy Treatment

What is LED Phototherapy?

Backed by 40 years of global research, including studies by NASA and voted ‘Treatment of the Year’ for four consecutive years, Dermalux, the number one name for LED Phototherapy combines clinically proven light wavelengths with cutting-edge LED technology.

Medically certificated and clinically proven this multi-award-winning brand is known and trusted by skincare professionals across the globe.

Phototherapy (‘treatment with light’) is based on the principle that all living cells have evolved to absorb and be influenced by light. The mechanism of action is a natural response similar to that of photosynthesis. The treatment entails exposing the skin to low levels of light energy, which triggers cellular processes in the skin, providing a rejuvenating boost to slowed or stagnant functions. Energised skin cells regenerate at an accelerated rate, resulting in an overall improved appearance of the skin, transforming a dull or tired complexion into one that is healthy, radiant, and more youthful. It has proven to be effective in treating problematic and inflammatory conditions without downtime.

Dermalux LED Phototherapy utilises a combination of three types of LED light, which can be used either individually or in combination.

BLUE 415nm LED Light

Blemish fighting blue light destroys the bacteria which causes acne and helps in the prevention of breakouts without irritation or downtime. It also has a calming effect for problematic skin.

RED 633nm LED Light

Rejuvenating red light energises the cells to accelerate renewal, boost collagen and elastin production, increases hydration for smoother, firmer skin. Ideal for restoring vitality and glow.

NIR 830nm LED Light

Regenerating Near Infrared light offers advanced rejuvenation benefits, promotes healthy skin, calms redness and irritation and helps to reduce pigmentation.
