To say I’m a little besotted with Trinny London and Trinny Woodall would be an understatement! What a fabulous concept and what an incredible lady, every time I see her she just makes me happy. Her energy and “joie de vivre” is intoxicating and yes I am a Trinny Tribe member!
For me, I had come to a point in my life where I was tired of all the palettes, tired of buying bits here and there and I really wanted to simplify the makeup products I was using but also the application. As a mum of 11yr old twin girls, I work full time and I also have sshernamalone.mystagingwebsite.com to look after so time to spend perfecting the perfect face in the morning just isn’t going to happen.
The Trinny London concept is that each product is cream based, and each product comes in a little t-pot and these can be stacked one on top of the another. So, if I am heading to work or going out for an evening all I need to bring with me is my stack, usually, this is 3/4 pots, max! Before Trinny London came into my life, I would have the face powder, blusher, a blusher brush, an eyeshadow pallet, sometimes two depending on which shades I had used. I would have a lip liner, lipstick, and lip gloss. Forget your dainty little purse bags, I needed the mother of all clutch bags.
Anyway, getting back to how I wanted to look as I head into my 47th year. I wanted to look fresh, the no-make-up make up look and with Trinny London thankfully I have achieved this. How? I did my match to me on their website (you can only buy online) and I trusted the process and ordered the products that suited my skin tone. I did not buy everything at once, my first buys were the BFF Cream, Flush Blush, one Eye2Eeye, and one Lip Glow. I was so pleased with everything I have since ordered more.
The BFF cream is a game-changer. It is a gorgeous skin-perfecting cream that lies somewhere between a tinted moisturizer and a BB cream. It is AMAZING! Your skin looks dewy and glows but without being shiny or sparkly. I’m not exaggerating when I say, it just makes you look fab. When I first used it, I remember saying to my sister that I felt it had knocked years off me. Now if someone said that to me I’d be like, right where do I buy? I am not in any paid partnership but when a product comes along that is this good, I just have to make a song and dance about it.
I know for many of you, the idea of buying online without testing colors can seem daunting and a no-no but trust the process, do your match2me and even start off with just the BFF Cream (there are four shades) the Starlight Highlighter and a Lip Glow, “Talis” is my favorite but “Maddie” is the perfect nude, great with a smokey eye. If you do try, let me know how you get on. I hope you’ll love it just as much as I do.
